Chairman – The Wadenhoe Group
Peter is founder and Chairman of The Wadenhoe Group, which consists of The Wadenhoe Consultancy, The Wadenhoe Centre Research Centre for Strategic Management Development and The Wadenhoe Management & Conference Centre. With a background in engineering, Peter completed his Masters at London Business School in 1973. Subsequently he enjoyed a number of strategic planning, senior management and Board roles, both in the UK and overseas. He was Director of the Management Development Unit at Cranfield School of Management, until he founded The Wadenhoe Group 15 years ago.
Ray Atkinson MBA, MCIPD, LRAM
Managing Director – The Wadenhoe Consultancy & Director of Wadenhoe Group
Ray has worked with The Wadenhoe Consultancy since 2000. As an independent consultant Ray specialised in all aspects of Organisation and Leadership Development. Prior to this he worked in a variety of senior HR Generalist roles and was Head of Management Development for a “Blue Chip” global engineering/industrial services organisation. In addition to his business qualifications, Ray is a Graduate in Speech and Drama from the Royal Academy of Music, which is used to great advantage in much of his behavioural development work. He considers himself fortunate to have held several general management positions, which have contributed to a strong business orientation.
Adrienne Dixon
Director of Wadenhoe Group & Senior Consultant
Adrienne has been with The Wadenhoe Consultancy since it was founded 15 years ago. She is a Director of The Wadenhoe Group, Senior Consultant and Director of Qualification Programmes for The Wadenhoe Consultancy. She has extensive and practical experience of working with over 30 leading organisations from a range of industry sectors. Adrienne is qualified to interpret MBTI Step 1 and 2, TMS and holds an Executive Diploma in Management. Her areas of particular expertise include: design and facilitation of leadership development and change management programmes, assessment/development centre design and one-to-one coaching.
Margaret Walsh MA, FCIPD
Consultant
Margaret has extensive experience, having worked for 17 years in a variety of HR management roles across all employment sectors. She has been actively involved with major change programmes in a number of “Blue Chip” companies, including the development and implementation of new HR policies and practices associated with these changes. Prior to joining The Wadenhoe Consultancy, Margaret had a portfolio career that included: change management, designing and running development courses, executive coaching and running assessment centres. Margaret completed an MA in Human Resource Management in 1998 and qualified as a Master Practioner in NeuroLinguisticProgramming in 2002.
Melanie Berman BA (Hons), FCIPD
Consultant
Melanie recently joined The Wadenhoe Consultancy, following a successful career in a variety of industry sectors including: Financial Services, Travel & Leisure, Logistics & Distribution and The National Health Service. She has a strong Management Development background gained over 18 years, including projects at Director level, which have covered Strategic HR Development, Change Management and Performance Management. Personal skill development for managers is a key area of expertise for Melanie, who is a qualified Situational Leadership trainer and MBTI practitioner. Melanie has also held a variety of line management positions, which have helped to make her a very business-focused, creative and practical consultant.

Elaina Ewing
Elaina has 17 years management experience, including 11 years as a consultant, specialising in Performance Management and Organisational Change. She works effectively as partner and coach with managers at strategic, tactical and operational levels, in contributing to the achievement of commercial objectives. Committed to quality and passionate about having a workplace become a place for people to thrive in, Elaina’s goal is to support individuals in achieving outstanding personal and business success. She brings to The Wadenhoe Consultancy extensive experience with corporate clients in the Finance, Communication, Utilities, Retail and Public Sectors, both in the UK and abroad.
Anne Purchese MBA. FCIPD
Operating as HR Director at international board level, Ann has developed and led critical Organisation Development and Culture Change projects. She has line management experience, including leadership of a significant South African business, operationally and through transition. In recent years, Anne has focused particularly on: outdoor teambuilding and leadership development activities, skill development programmes, as well as coaching at board level downwards. Anne brings to The Wadenhoe Consultancy a range of senior experiences with “Blue Chip” organisations across several industrial sectors.
Sean Murphy PhD. MBA
Sean Murphy has 25 years senior management experience in a variety of “Blue Chip” companies, in Management Development, Human Resource Management and Line Management. During this time he has worked internationally in Russia, Egypt and more recently Spain. Key areas of expertise include: design and delivery of leadership, staff development and development frameworks, change management and executive coaching. Since working with us, Sean has brought to The Wadenhoe Consultancy, a depth of experience in facilitating senior management activities and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
